Everyone agrees that the 10,000 word essays at the start of every recipe online are stupid. It's just amazing that when given the choice between a) not writing all that crap no one reads and b) still write it but give everyone a link to skip it, recipe writers went with b.

Something weird about designing card games is having to use the word trump to refer to a games strongest suit. I’ve noticed it makes a lot of people uncomfy.
That word is very culturally engrained to card game design and culture and impossible to just will out of existence.

If you're an artist making an autobiographical movie and think the only way people might see it is to use a gimmick like doing it in LEGO or casting yourself as an ape, it might be better to just rethink the whole project

It's quite a statement that they've convinced us that a game like the Super Bowl is cool because of all of these celebrities in attendance and not an indictment of how they've completely priced out regular fans
