Fishing when I was younger was always about catching the biggest fish possible, it wasn’t until I got older and dare I say, wiser that I realised that it is and always has been so much more than that.
Now it’s about sharing time in nature with those closest to me. #fishing #flyfishing #trout

This takes me back! I caught so many Rainbow Trout using a bright orange version of a damsel with an orange tungsten bead for a head. I think 2016 was the best years fishing I had fly fishing. Draycote water had become my second home and I felt so in tune with the water. #fishing #flyfishing #trout

So went out after a winter Carp or 2 and ended up catching a couple of bream, made friends with a Robin, tried my daughters lucky water charm and wondered why the sign in the toilet is actually a thing. #carp #fishing #catchoftheday #funnysign

Got a little window of opportunity between school drop off and pick up to get a rod in the water to tempt an autumn carp. I’m opting for the pellet feeder. 4mm Sticky Baits blood worm pellets I’ve soaked over night, but as always I’ll keep my options wide open. #carpfishing #fishing #stickybaits
