Persimmon season is the best! I picked these from our tree today. (Plus the last few of our pomegranates.) I picked over 150 and there are still hundreds more! Happy time for the birds, squirrels and people. 🍂

I really like Athletic's Run Wild IPA, too. Their Free Wave hazy is reasonably good but not as good as Run Wild. I haven't tried the ones you posted, but will after seeing your post!

We have a hachiya persimmon tree. Once they're ripe, they're super-soft. You just bite into it and suck, like a fruit vampire. 🤣 🧛♂️ Ours aren't ripe yet, but they're coming along nicely. I took this picture a few minutes ago. I can't wait!

Yesterday I made an apple pandowdy. Basically an apple pie in a pan. The top crust is deliberately "shingled" in pieces and with gaps, to create different textures and let juices bubble up. Not as pretty as your pie and whipped cream (I love the little green leaves!), but really flavorful. 😋 🍏 🥧
