In a day or so, my book Darkness will go on sale for $2.99 and it will stay that price until Valentine's Day!

Because, y'know, it's a love story and all that gooshyness.

The really tough thing this week is to continue to see things like "writing fiction" as important.

Here's where I bust out the speech about art being essential to the human race. Except I don't have a speech. I'm mostly just tired today.

It's been a good writing week. I completed a short story for the NYC Midnight contest, and I'm well into chapter 1 of a new novel. Or chapter 2. Hard to say.

From a current WIP:

".... these Dreams were strangely good... they were full of color and lively action, and there was a feeling of deep, comforting warmth in the voices that spoke to him. It felt dangerously good. It made him not want to wake up."

Man, I need writing prompts or something. I feel absolutely dry right now.

Google has informed me that they have refused my account appeal, and I'm still not sure what I might have done wrong. Did someone publish one of my works somewhere else?

Google Books has refused to publish my novel because of a non-exclusive content violation. While I'm figuring that out, please find my books on Amazon!
