I thought this rule applied to all oners until I saw Rope. That movie was definitely enhanced by the way it was shot.

I’ve never used AVID, I’ve only used FCP 7, FCPx, resolve and Premiere. However so far everytime someone tries to explain the value of AVID and nothing is close I don’t see it paired with evidence.

The other 3 are better at speed, titles, and color and don’t require as many AEs for troubleshooting?

Omg, yes!! And add to that the issues with Microsoft Authenticator trying to get into teams. It’s a nightmare. Microsoft makes everyone else look so good.

We’re using a combination of slack, fathom/zoom, and ClickUp to communicate and track our communication/projects. If I only had Teams I would hate it.

🤣 I don’t do any VFX like this but that has to be challenging. I’m assuming there is a way to see atleast a single frame with lighting and texture without rendering it all out.

What a nightmare

I think these days a healthy question to ask is “what is the VFX shot least likely to be recognized as CGI?” I’d love to find out how tricked I was.
