This week, a family member going through chemo had to have all her hair cut off because she was self-conscious about it falling out.

Today the BBC reported on asylum seekers relying on home office-funded taxis to get around. But as I heard when I visited Bristol City of Sanctuary, this isn't the reality for many - it's being forced to walk for hours to get to appointments, sometimes with kids, or miss out on essentials.

Cars, especially SUV’s, are getting bigger every year – clogging streets, taking up space, and more worryingly putting lives at risk.

London must use every tool in the policy toolbox to reverse this dangerous trend - and the Assembly agreed this last week.

The idea that new oil & gas fields are a key lever for economic dynamism in the UK is completely at odds with the reality of the North Sea basin's inexorably declining contribution to the UK's economic & energy security--not to mention the costs of escalating climate change. Some thoughts:
