I registered with the city of Las Vegas as a street performer. Once I had my license, I entered the daily lottery. I was assigned Spot 21 from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Nice! I walked by that one when I was there last year. So much fun! (I even noticed this one I saw this time had a drive-thru wedding option!)

The Gold & Silver Pawn Shop where they film the TV show “Pawn Stars.” I didn’t go in. Best I could do was walk by.

Joan Collins and Michael Jordan were apparently both married here. (Presumably at different times and not to each other.) Also, the movie “Anora” was filmed here. (I haven’t seen it yet, but I loved “Red Rocket” by the same director.)

My standard mission of finding good tacos was completed at Tacos El Gordo, which I hit up twice during my Vegas trip. It did not disappoint either time.

The restaurant at my hotel had a pizza burger, which lived up its name with pepperonis and cheese on the outside of the top bun.
