Rob Vaughan. Got my PhD in my 50s in American Studies from Univ of Hawai`i. Along the way I taught college for 20 yrs. Then high school for 5. Retired now. Before teaching, 20 years in trucking. CDL to PhD. Long strange trip, etc.
Don't know when the cows come HOME, but here is a herd being heard responding to their names at roll call when they first got to work.

Good Morning! Enjoy this cute video of cows responding to a roll call. The herder was calling them from his notes, name by name. Two were not paying attention. Love this so much!

The scene: San Francisco, 1989. Corner of 15th & Noe.

The crime: Window smashed on my Toyota beater. Only item stolen was my Giants hat with 4 Croix De Candlestick pins!!!

I’ve since gotten over the cost to fix window. Theft of hat w/ pins? My rage still smolders. Moo Yeah!

"Everything will collapse unless rich people are able to gamble on tulip futures with magic beans unless the government accepts all their risk and gives them free dollars." Am I getting this right?

Just gotta say there could be a whole other bit of Thanksgiving storytelling in which "the cousins" and "a dope cloud rolled out" feature prominently.

Uh, whatever the answer is let's keep this on the down low about ham. TSA is ridiculous enough as it is fantasizing about how ordinary stuff can be "weaponized." 😜

My one Irish Catholic grandma would never make spaghetti. Too "ethnic." The other poured a can of sauce over broken in half, boiled to death pasta. Called it "the spaghet." In their defense, both were born in the 19th century and grew up very poor.

I can be as star struck as anyone, but "... we left her alone" is as good a life philosophy as it gets.
