They’re killing people as a twitter joke. It’s depraved. Can’t let yourself lose the capacity to be appalled and disgusted and outraged by this.

Hi all,

I rarely do this, but I'm posting that I'm back on the academic job market.

As a Californian, my partner and I are trying to stay on the West Coast. Any leads for jobs in History, American Studies, Cultural Studies, etc. in the Western U.S. are greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,

Nathan

'68 Ford Galaxy station wagon w/ 390 cid, 4 bbl carb. Drove one of these bad boys back in the mid 70s. Could pass everything on the road, as they'd say, except a gas station.

Not a medical doctor, just speculating. Leqembi is a drug for Alzheimer’s patients to slow progression of the disease. It’s given by IV (bruising on hand) and requires follow-up MRIs to detect possible brain bleeds. For shits & giggles google it and see if what we know of Trump doesn’t match up.

So wild to me that monumental advances in fundamental biomedical research are happening at the same time as a farcical, lethal hatred of science is taking over our public health systems
GOOD NEWS! Researchers have made a HUGE breakthrough towards a UNIVERSAL antiviral. By targeting sugar molecules found on the surface of many viruses that SHARE structural similarities, they identified FOUR compounds that successfully BLOCKED infections from SEVEN different viruses.

Stop Calling Us Warriors
If you’ve been in the Army longer than five minutes, you’ve probably been called “warrior” already. Or maybe “hero,” usually used sarcastically when referring to…

A depraved and decadent Trump WH dinner for MBS was a stunning low for an American ruling class that's stopped pretending to carry a moral compass

It was really a celebration of death - of democracy, of an overheating planet, and ultimately themselves. My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/ceos...

This Day in Labor History: November 22, 1909. Approximately 20,000 garment workers in New York City went on strike against the horrendous conditions of their sweatshops. This strike, known as the Uprising of the 20,000, was the largest strike led by women in American history to that time!!!

Mamdani could do the funniest thing and show up to the Trump meeting with "tribute" like the Swiss dude. But the NYC mayor-elect should gift him a Karl Marx statue spray painted gold.
Trump in a room with a very charismatic person results in like half a day of Trump agreeing with everything that person said, so this has the potential to be very, very funny.

Trump’s chaotic flip-flops on tariffs and work visas have created so much uncertainty that businesses are afraid to invest in the USA.

Next Nobel Awards season gonna be lit! Trump's Peace Prize pretty much already in hand. Physics? Read this word salad and tell me it isn't his too. Fucking magnets! Literature? Re-read that paragraph! Move over Ernest Hemingway, Toni Morrison, and Mario Vargas Llosa! Dude probably runs the table!
