Quiet morning sky with the sun just starting to hit the hill in the distance...It just gave me a good feeling so I had to stop and take a picture. The Canada geese were silent.

When you go to Skógafoss,
there is a nearby waterfall named Kvernufoss. There is a finished short trail to it and you can get behind the falls. To find it…turn left off the Ring Road at the sign for Skógafoss. There is an another left turn for Skógafoss, go straight and take the next right.

Snail shaped glacier ice at Jökullsárlón, Iceland…this area is known as Diamond Beach due to the bright crystals of ice contrasting with the black sand.

We have been there most months of the year. Summers have the best weather but the biggest crowds. The fall is nice because you have a chance at the northern lights. In June, the lupines are in bloom.
