Mortified - my first @bemyeyes.bsky.social call today and the guy was asking me how to switch his phone off, his phone was in Romanian. I tried my best but he ended up calling 999 by mistake and then I couldn’t tell him where end call was because again, Romanian. What a disaster 😵💫

I went out in the travesty that is #StormDarragh and I’ve returned like I’ve been dragged through a bush backwards. Not sure I fancy going out again despite having theatre tickets.

Interesting! Tucked away in the government's "Make Work Pay" policy is the extension of both the Public Sector Equality Duty and Freedom of Information requirements to private sector organisations exercising public functions / delivering public contracts.
