Wazzu has been playing an independent schedule this year (and last) with the Pac-12 reforming next year, and JMU had an opening. So it came together quickly. I think JMU goes to Pullman in a couple of years.

What does MLS have to deal with that no European league outside of Ireland has to deal with? Competition for money from other sports that are significantly bigger than MLS.

And at some point, MLS is finally going to admit that the AppleTV deal has had a negative impact on the league, right?
