Bicycle-culture here is 30 years behind most other, comparable countries. it's so weird. the malice for bikes from, seemingly, everybody? it's like the States in the 1970s. it as if AoNZ somehow got cursed with the festering soul of robert moses.

fight the good fight, mate!

it’s impressive, can’t lie. Is it still photography, tho?

I think we’re going to have to sort out the difference between photos, and photo-inspired images. and be at peace with any novice being able to do what used to require years of experience.

Way of things, I suppose.

I've watched a couple of photo-youtubers' reactions, including Tony Northrup. One argument: it's just a voice interface for whatever editing suite you'd otherwise use.

My initial reaction? Feels like the final nail in the coffin of photography as something you have to learn how to do. #eek

Phone! given the clarity of the water in the foreground i might have guessed there was a polariser involved! looks lovely, indeed.

It’s only put me on the ground a couple of times. Mostly I can slow my roll, hold onto something, and carry on in 20-30 seconds. <<shrug>>

the combination of the serious rust at the base, and our harbour winds? wondering if we're going to be looking at Solace in The Deep
