I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

We have employed a defamation lawyer specifically for this purpose and would love to help (and we do so on non-commercial terms). www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

It took three types of politician to get the Brexit ‘win’. Intensely cynical and dishonest egotists… prejudiced ideologues… and useful idiots.
Absolutely no one in any of those categories is capable of admitting the mistake or accepting it is one.

The Telegraph sides with Trump against the BBC and, so, the country.

Private Eye sums up its feeble-minded, fawning betrayal beautifully.

It’s easy to see why Trump wants to destroy the world’s number one news source. We can’t let him.

The BBC belongs to all of us here in the UK.

The Prime Minister and leaders from across the political spectrum should be united in telling Trump to keep his hands off it.

Keir Starmer needs to wake up and fix our broken voting system before the next election, or he risks letting Nigel Farage into Number 10.

We will keep fighting for fair votes to make sure every voice is heard.

Sky News says police are "overwhelmed by the numbers". Met coped perfectly well with 2x as many at the pro-Gaza rally, 5x as many at the anti-Brexit march, and 15x as many at London Pride.

They're not overwhelmed by the numbers. They're overwhelmed by the ratio of violent thugs in those numbers.

Here’s the thing: we do not concede *one inch* to the far right. Ever. Anywhere. They are not just another political player. They are a threat to everything our ancestors fought and died to protect. They are not to be appeased. They are to be stopped. Rip down the flags wherever you see them. 3/3

"I'm asking you a direct question. Why do you ban journalists who oppose your views from coming to your events? Why did you tell local government not to do interviews with your local newspaper?"
