Yep. There’s a lot of lore & mystery for living 27 short years.

I think part of the mystique is that, according to Son House, Robert used to annoy people with his guitar playing. Then he disappeared for half a year & returned an amazing player.
Apparently, he’d gone to practice with a mentor. They played in a graveyard at night where there was no one to bother.
