This is a very interesting decision, whether it was SEO-led or based on some broader ongoing thread in the tabloids. There is no indication yet that this had anything to do with mechanical fault (despite Boeing’s excellence in that area). Or that Boeing is capable of creating turbulence.

Another good bit from this Prospect piece - a side point here but it is a serious, rapidly escalating problem that the limited means we do have to challenge govt decisions, esp Home Office, are laughable and destined to fail. Having no counterbalance whatsoever breeds arrogance and contempt.

Around 4pm, whilst fielding calls, in the middle of a complex data intensive piece of work, I became aware of a spectre hovering silently but heavily to my right; when I finally turned it was to this. She hadn’t moved or made a sound for several minutes. I have imparted my passive aggression well.
