This was gifted by a friend in the last year, I think. I haven't played Final Fantasy 6 ever. I've been told that it's one of the best, yet again, I never got around to playing it. What's worse? I have it installed. Shameful, I know.

You know, I constantly forget that I even have Undertale. Probably because it's hidden in one of my sorted libraries so when I look for new games to play, I overlook it. This should probably go into my wheel of games the next time I update it.

Our company may have worked on the mobile port, but I've yet to even play Hades. I haven't so much as done a first-time run with this. I don't think I've even installed it, ever. One day I'll get to you.

You know, I really should get around to playing Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. I've been told that the storytelling is fantastic, which is totally my jam, and it can be beat in 8ish hours... Seriously, I should bump add this on my wheel of games as a contender.

Here's another: Portal 2. I know it's a classic, and honestly I know this will tickle my puzzle-solving/escape room brain, but OH MAN, I keep forgetting this exists and end up playing other games. Shameful, I know! Maybe one day...

Let's start with something that's going to be controversial... Baldur's Gate 3. I know it's good, but I also know that it's a FREAKING commitment. I need to be in the mindset that I will be doing very little besides playing this game, or I'll start it, play a few hours, and never touch it again.

HAHAHA, okay this is funny. Let's do it.

Adding another FPS to the list with Borderlands 2. Sometimes you just gotta have a game that's equal parts silly as it is compelling. Borderlands 2 does that and more. I've played this over and over with so many people, and it still remains one of my favorite co-op shooters.

Of course, I have more than one death game in the list. Of the Nonary Games series, 999 was my favorite and I just needed to get all the possible endings to truly get the whole picture. High-stakes puzzle game and visual novel? Sign me up.

If I could put every Professor Layton game, I would. I love that they're able to marry puzzle game and storytelling in all of the Layton games, though if I had to choose just one, I think Unwound Future is my favorite. Really looking forward to the new one coming out next year.

OKAY, I haven't played this game in a while, but I have to mention Deceive Inc, because this game is hella fun. It's an FPS shooter, an espionage game, an NPC simulator all in one. The character designs are chef's kiss and the OST of this game is SO well done.

This was tough because among the Tales games, my top 3 are so close to one another that it's sometimes hard to choose a fave. Tales of the Abyss is probably the first game I actually poured 100 hours into when I was younger. And that was just for one playthrough. What I'd give to replay it again.

I was never a big fan of action shooters, but all that changed after I got my hands on Uncharted. What started out a fun challenge became yet another gripping story that I could sink my teeth into. Honestly, I would love another Uncharted game, even if Nathan Drake isn't the protagonist. ND, please!

Persona 4 was one of my favorite games on the PS2. The social link mechanic really drew me in, allowing me to learn more and become invested in the other characters' stories. Many of their troubles felt real and relatable, and if a game has good character development, I'm probably going to love it.

I grew up on choose your own adventure books, so this game was right up my alley. Life is Strange is fun in that you're able to explore different decisions and see how each one plays out. The consequences really mattered and despite replayability, you still feel the weight of your first choices.

Naughty Dog made a real special one when they came up with The Last of Us. Despite being put in a dystopian zombie setting, you're still able to put yourself in the shoes of both Joel and Ellie, and you become invested in both their stories. It really showed the duality of the human condition.

I love horror. I really do. So it shouldn't be a surprised that I thoroughly enjoyed the story of corpse party. It's equal parts unnerving as it is terrifying and, man, are the deaths gruesome. It's one of the few games I've double-dipped for on multiple platforms because I love it so much.

Ah, Apex Legends. My toxic vice. I tried a couple of battle royales when the genre first started cropping up, but never found it as engaging as Apex. A lot of it comes down to the movement and the gun feel that I think is lacking from other FPS. ESPECIALLY the movement. The lore is a bonus too!

Look, I really don't care much about graphics if the story is good and Final Fantasy Tactics is just proof of that. This was my introduction to tactical RPG and it has become one of my favorite genres in games because of this game alone. I constantly find myself wanting to replay it again.

The Mass Effect Trilogy was just one grand adventure. Despite the few missteps when it came to the ending, it was a fun journey with Shepard and their band of misfits on the Normandy. It truly felt that every decision mattered as you progressed through the story.

The World Ends with You is a masterpiece in storytelling, character development, and gameplay. I connect with the characters so well, and it's clear to see how well-thought each one is. I still believe that it is the only game that was truly able to utilize every part the Nintendo DS had to offer.

Final Fantasy VII was my introduction into JRPGs, and it has remained a core memory during my developmental years. Now, many years later, it continues to hold a special place in my heart, especially now that I can relive it all over again through the remake project.
