It's like an entirely different language, no joke. There's some similarity, but it's kinda like trying to understand English with auditory processing disorder, I can only make out some of it and kinda rely on context to get the rest of it. We're a hockey house, so we hear a lot of Quebecois XD

I was going to ask what mochinuts are and then I remembered I have internet. There's a place near my friend's shop called Mochidou, looks similar to that! Those donuts are stellar, ngl, I'd hit a pause button to go get myself a mochi donut.

The crafter in me is sitting here going 'for the price of a hot glue gun, an undisclosed number of rhinestones, and at least one (1) week of our life, we could make that' and it is taking everything in me to silence that fucker.

I think the only one I have is when my lesbian mothers showed up to the ONLY time I ever hosted. Stepmom brought her own drumsticks and spent the ENTIRE night talking about how she just had such a strong preference for 'dark meat'. My biomom was as white as it gets, and the jokes wrote themselves.

My partner has convinced me to give it one more year. The hardest part is just... Partnering with places. It's so damn hard to get my name out there when I lost 90% of my client base during the pandemic and the shops I used to work with have all added 'training' as a loss leader to sell shit.
