The fun thing about the "masculinity crisis" is that masculinity has literally always been in crisis, for as long as we've been writing about it, and also that isn't even the problem:

Do you have an evidence-free statistic that haunts you? I once read that most people rate themselves as being slightly more attractive than they actually are, and ever since then, when I feel gross, I make sure to remind myself that I look grosser than I think I do. A triumph of mental health!
