It’s probably a case where “never use an extension cord” is easier to tell people than “use the right extension cord”.
They make heavy duty extension cords for air conditioners w/ 10-14awg wires rated for ~15amps/1875w which may work, depending on the current draw of your air fryer.

Could start them off as a battle smith artificer and then respec to artillerist when someone makes a poor decision around their steel defender.
