Quick q for folks who likely know better than I do. How do you feel when someone 'reacts' to an email you send (like, with a thumbs up or heart or something). Do you prefer a short one line response (like 'ok, sounds good!' etc.) OR is a react acceptable? (asking as an 'email react' person 😬)

This summer I’ll be joining the University of Toronto (OISE) as faculty in Science Education.
I am truly grateful to the colleagues, friends, and students at Penn State who became family so quickly. I could not have asked for a better/more welcoming introduction into academia. 1/
