It got chilly and I was trying to postpone turning the heat on so I bought a fleece robe for $20 at Giant Tiger. I am delightfully surprised to find it glows in the dark. It truly is the little things that make life great.

Spent the day dusting and reorganizing the library/study. None of my shelves match. Felt like playing book Tetris. #BookSky 📚

Hubby baked my favourite cookies and brought some to my work this afternoon. They’re still warm and delicious. He’s definitely a keeper.

I finished Please See Us by Caitlin Mullen recently. This book is so well written. It’s hard to believe it’s a debut novel. I’m impressed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read 45 books so far this year. It took a few months to get going after my pandemic slump (3 years!) but now I’m averaging about one book per week. Feels good to be back! Next year I think I’ll try for 50 books, including 5 important titles on my shelf I haven’t read yet. #Booksky 📚
