Can’t find where I posted this before but Becoming The Strokes is the absolute best case scenario for nepo babies. All rich kids should aim for Becoming The Strokes. So much more valuable to the world than Making Number Go Up.

The Catcher in the Rye is about a teenager struggling with the grief of losing his younger brother to cancer and it's strongly hinted that the narrator has been a victim of childhood molestation or worse and everyone who takes that story and turns it into "rich kid won't stop whining" is illiterate.

I’ve been trying to articulate to myself why I find the discourse around Mamdani so upsetting and I think beyond the fact that it is/encourages racism, xenophobia, and Islamophobia, it also makes a mockery of what I consider to be real issues, namely antisemitism and Jewish safety.

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce that tapir Yuna gave birth to a rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf Sunday night. The newborn, covered in distinctive white spots and stripes resembling a fuzzy walking watermelon, is only the second tapir born in our 120-year history.
