That and I genuinely think they want to murder devs shipping Windows-specific dependencies like kernel-level anti-cheat. The bigger this subset of the PC ecosystem gets, the less justifiable that is to publishers.

I don’t think valve much cares about converting console-only players. I think they just want people already on PC to also be using Steam instead of consoles in the living room and entrench them even further. Here’s your existing 400 game deep Steam library, why do you need that PS5 or Xbox.

I had it go haywire a year or so ago, resetting the keyboard dictionary seems to have helped. Maybe try that? (Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary)
