I am trying to grow my own for the first time. I planted them a little late, but we will see. This picture is from 10 days ago and they have since tripled in size so I am hopeful.😁

And in this last batch I used anise seed, lime, zest, and walnuts. I use whatever I have in the pantry. As you can see, I also cut them a little rustic. 🤭

This recipe from my favorite Italian cookbook. The author traveled Italy collecting recipes from different people. I like that it’s not all from one chef with their own perspective on food. I’ve made this in so many variations. You can add whatever you like.

I love this time of year when specialty items start popping up in the stores. I may not be able to stroll through this little shop in France, but I can still enjoy their creations.🥮🧁🍮

I bought these just because I love ginger so thought I would give them a try. Boy are they delicious! They go great with a hot cup of tea on a cold night. I think I’m hooked.🫢
