Book #4: besides high fantasy, i was reading histories of animation this summer. This was one of the 4 i tried to plough through.

Book #5: my summer reading. The summer was spent in the Blacl Forest with my wife and two daughters. Many things were great, and so was this trilogy.

Book #3. This is the coursebook that I will start teaching in September. It is part of a first year course in media studies at the University of Amsterdam (#UvA).

Book #2: Goethe and Schillers letters to one-another are a great way to get to know these folks. Bought them on a trip in Germany with my now wife. They remind me more of the trip than of their contents.

Because all of this feels like I need to reintroduce myself, I am going through my bookcase and will tell stories about my books starting today. First up: Paradisio by Maruo, which is a troubling but beautifully drawn atrocity tale centering around the blackest holes of WW2.
