(Moulton has said that he would vote against Schumer in 2027, but has not explicitly called for Schumer to resign immediately)

I guess ⬆️ isn't right. Apparently in an interview today, when directly asked, he expressed support for Schumer stepping down immediately.

Still, including him on this list paints it as more active than he's been on the topic.

This is inaccurate. Seth Moulton has *not* called for Schumer to step down. He has only said that he will vote against Schumer in 2027 if he's elected Senator.

I am a Senate candidate in MA who has called for Schumer to resign.

Gregory Eichelberger

Don't know anything about him other than his name and that he filed

Correct a second candidate filed last week

Burbrige in RI is really trying, tho struggling to gain traction as far as I can tell. But he's certainly running a real campaign.

There's a new candidate in VA who just filed, don't know anything about yet.

I don't know much about the others in CO, but agree Breslin presents as most formidable.

There are ongoing primaries in all of those states except Delaware!

Exactly this. Either you are calling for Chuck Schumer to step down - immediately - or you are complicit.

That includes you, @markey.senate.gov.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.

They literally cannot help themselves.

Old guard Democrats are incapable of seeing their job in terms of how to make life better today.

They can only see future elections.

The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

I do not mention Markey's age on my website or in my stump speech, and multiple articles have commented on my refusal to bring it up even during lengthy interviews.

I do not believe he is meeting this moment. As demonstrated right now, by his continued support of Schumer.

They said "existential threat".
I believed those words - but they're acting like they didn't.

I'm Alex Rikleen, and I am running for US Senate in Massachusetts.

I am a Democrat primarying a Senator who is up in 2026, and I could certainly use some of that "awash in cash" of which you speak....

Markey is Congress' longest-serving Democrat, & he supports Schumer.

(if you can donate, I am greatly appreciative)

From my thread after Tuesday's wins⬇️

As I always say - I hope I'm one of the primary candidate you'll support, but it doesn't have to be me. There are dozens of us around the country.

But if we don't support primary candidates, then current Democratic leadership will see these wins as justification of their approach.
