Don't know how true it is but there was a comment I saw on the layoffs video from a person saying they were laid off and wanted people to know it was the day before Thanksgiving and the day after they found out a fellow employee had passed away the day before.

If you wanna come to my place and complain about Christmas. Come on by, the whole thing sucks. Commercialization, faux niceness, loud repetitive music, all of it in the bin. The only advantages are light displays and hanging with people who sometimes are too awkward to hang without the excuse of it.
