Baked up nice. The sad part is having to let it sit overnight soaking up the honey syrup. Best part is the sound it makes when you spoon the cool syrup over the hot hot pastry. Very asmr, very satisfying. I took a little video of that part.

My sister gave me a pint of honey from her beehive for Xmas. Baklava is assembled and going into the oven while the honey syrup cools off.
