Word is another woman has come forward, GOP senate are not fans and if he bails now, he can run in the special election for his old (still warm) house seat.

Pretty sure that’s why Gaetz bailed now, early in the process, so he can run in the special election for his District 1 seat.

Because the senate told Gaetz he was going down, another woman came forward and, by stepping down now, he can run for his seat in the FL special election to fill it.
