Meanwhile, the painting actually took 50 pounds off of him. My guess is he's upset that he's not orange enough in the painting.

Haha! It's definitely a relic of a former era. It's helped me with anything from Bananas Foster to Chicken Pontalba (pictured). Have to admit the latter was quite a bit of work--not something I make regularly. I have a pot of red beans going on shortly for tonight!
