Kind of like the Navy going into WWII, officers who rose by playing it safe, not making waves or mistakes. B mid-war, younger, newer officers rise to command ships and were much more effective—-United States Submarine Service, they took risks and sank the the Japanese merchant marine and navy.

Bradley’s career is over. Not only will he be separated from the Navy, but he will be reduced in rank, and likely will also face civilian criminal charges, perhaps even international charges. Good bet he ‘rats’ on Hegseth and Trump to try to save his skin. International charges cannot be pardoned.

Let’s start a pool about how long Hegseth lasts in his current job. I say less than a week. Admiral Bradley is desperately negotiating right now with members of the House and Senate to save his four star retirement. He will resign within a week as well—-probably with a demotion.
