Esme’s role in the first half was fascinating to watch—sometimes CB, sometimes RB, sometimes RCM, she did it all, even had a decent look at goal. Feels like a big synthesis moment for her growth as a passer this year

Asked for clarification on McKeown & Carle over whether, before that meeting with medical, there's at least a chance they can participate.

Screw it we're doing it now!

I have nothing to do tonight and would love to talk about bobsled, skeleton and luge, so if you have questions about the sports I'm around to field them all evening! Fire away!
At some point I'd love to do a AMA style bobsled/skeleton/luge chat where you just ask any questions you may have the sports and I do my best to answer them.

Would anyone be up for this?

Done deal, per sources: D.C. United have named Erkut Sogut their new sporting director.

Sogut hasn't worked for a club or in MLS before. Previously a lawyer on agent side of the game.

DCU also part ways with assistant GM Caleb Shreve, per sources.

Got a story out today about something I’ve been fascinated by for years: From Atlanta hip hop to Bama RushTok, here’s how and why the South has taken such a firm grip on modern American culture. Gift link: www.bloomberg.com/news/feature...
The United States Is Southern Now
From booming metros to culture-defining exports, the South has quietly become a demographic powerhouse and a battleground for the country’s identity.

This is very close to how I became an Everton fan. I don’t know why I’m like this either.
On some episodes of Phantom Island, we wrestle with big questions all around the world of sports.

On this episode, we poke into the psychology of @stevengodfrey.bsky.social as a sports fan and ponder if the universe WANTED him to adopt one of Spain's messiest soccer clubs.
How did Steven Godfrey pick one of the messiest La Liga teams to support?

Anyone who fails to see why this is not a good idea for the league clearly has no part of being in a supporter group or has had to run one. It quite literally neglects the work we all have done to make our spaces safe and enjoyable for fans and this is just a money grab to them and nothing more.
