I fear it’s gone way beyond even being able to be “fixed”. Why, especially in this current world, would any company (as that’s what they all are now) take on an NHS customer when everyone else is “paying” higher fees? There’s no incentive for them to treat us.

It won’t be planned or funded though. Never is 🤷‍♂️

Here’s a novel idea:

Give the people a little more, not these big regulators/companies.

This is then spent in the “economy” (big word for us useless plebs to understand) and Kaboooom, we have growth in the UK economy.

This astounds me. They say they want growth, yet they do not help the poorest, and I class myself as a carer amongst them. The money being spent helping the poorest would create growth as they have no choice but to spend. Giving more to the elites doesn’t help. Trickledown doesn’t work, never has
