I made a little shelf insert for a #Multisystem2 slice tray. You can store your SDcards, Zaparoo NFC cards, cartridges and a few retro sweets 😎

Maybe we need a double height version for control pad storage 🤔

Stuart Poole is presenting his career of games development and production of titles over the last 30+ years. @retrocollective.co.uk

It’s a proof of concept prototype, we are working on a demo to show off the cartridge interface, more to show soon.

We will release the info and ask the community if they want cartridge adaptors made.

Testing various carts, interfaces and functions. What are you playing first?

Modified the #Multisystem N64 cartridge to be a little more inspired by the console. Using #3DPrinting for production allows for total manufacturing flexibility 👍
Changed from chunky square to a rounded shape similar to the N64 cartridges. What do you think?

We are adding more @prusa3d.com Core ONE #3DPrinters into our Print farm.
So easy to get them running straight out of the box 👍

These new Core ONE machines are keeping up with #Multisystem2 production printing.

Behind the scenes, Neil filming Nick, testing his hardware design of the #Multisystem2 console.

Using a PCEngine mouse to play Lemmings!

There is a lot going on in these images, what else can you spot?

New Dual NES & Saturn SNAC cartridges are now available in the shop.
I really like how the NES 4-score dual port fits perfectly into the SNAC Cartridge adaptor.
Works perfectly with the NES Zapper too.

So pleased we only use sustainable cardboard spools for our 3D print farm. Lots of ways to #reduce #reuse & #recycle cardboard spools.

#Masterspool refills are also now much more available, so you can even remove the cardboard too.

We had the one and only @iainlee.com visit the @retrocollective.co.uk Museums today. Lots of great discussion about #retro and #Arcades Iain is pretty good at Missile Command 👍

Visitors to the @retrocollective.co.uk museum today have been playing on our #Multisystem2 console. The ? Random NFC game card was a popular option to help with that indecision of too much choice.
February 22, 2025 at 3:36 PM
We had a wonderful talk today by Frank @gamesthatwerent.com about games that weren’t
Amazing stories of preservation and persistence over the last 25 years.

The #Multisystem2 tower of power is slightly more compact than the Sega mega set. 😎

Slice expansion tray design for Multisystem2 is completed allowing 2x CTRLDock boards, mass storage or other expansion. Main enclosure revisions are also almost complete. Do you like the Galaxy Blue?

One of the more stranger things I was asked to #3DPrint recently.

Horse skull 💀

Does anyone have any experience making skeletons/skulls look more like bone. I was considering a black tea wash or dry brushing to pull out the features & details.
