It seems like the trees in CT are almost done shedding their leaves this season, just as we wrap up #WriteOut. As the song goes,

“The leaves have fallen all around.
Time I was on my way.
Thanks to you. I’m much obliged.
Such a pleasant stay.”

Thanks @writingproject.bsky.social for a great year.

I love this idea of wonder walkers. Here’s my rainy wonder walk.

My wonders:
🍁Is the wind leaf’s transportation?
🐜Is a puddle an ant’s ocean?
💧Is the rain a drought’s just response?

April is Poetry Month!

In class today, students rambled across my anthologies to find, read, and share their thoughs on poems, as we’ve done for thousands of years. Welcome to the club!

I'm leading a roundtable at #FairfieldUniversity discussing #UniversalDesign in college classrooms. I'm honored to be invited by a student to participate as a competent practitioner of universal design.

If you're interested in attending and you're from outside the Fairfield U. community DM me.
