Maryland legislators, who will file the bill to protect wetlands in Maryland??

This is the kind of situation where states like Maryland should enact their own state laws to replace the defunct federal protection.

It’s an attack on everyone who drinks coffee to get alert and energetic in the morning. #Trumpcoffeetaruffs

There was huge tumult over the price of eggs. Now how about the price of a cup of coffee?

This is a very constructive way for former federal employees to continue their important work!

Thank you for highlighting this. It needs more attention and outrage. Is someone going to file a lawsuit?

Good teasing headline, but is anyone surprised?

And I saw assertions about particulate emissions but no data about comparative quantities. Very weak argument.

To me he’s “Chicken Andy” — talks a big brave game but chickens out when it’s time to vote.
July 4, 2025 at 9:33 PM
He’s hoping to embarrass hypocritical Republicans who made public statements then voted the opposite way to pass the Big Ugly Bill. Hopefully at least 4 of them will feel so embarrassed they will vote nay.

Thank you for your part in the fight!

And perhaps the real reason, they need MTG’s vote to pass the bill in the House
July 1, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Chicken Andy needs to grow a spine and vote no on the Senate version that raises the debt ceiling by $5 Trillion and increases the actual debt by at least $3 Trillion.
July 1, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Will Andy grow a backbone or maybe some cojones and vote against the Senate version? Or will he chicken out again? The Eastern Shore exports a lot of chickens but we don’t need on representing us in Washington.
July 1, 2025 at 5:07 PM
So Andy Harris says he strongly opposes deficits. But he chickened out when the House passed Trump’s “big bill” that increased the debt and voted “present” to let the bill pass. The Senate passed version increases the debt by over $3 Trillion and raises the debt ceiling by $5 Trillion.

Thank you, and keep up the fight!
July 1, 2025 at 1:24 PM
Thank you! Make sure they read the entire big ugly bill, and then make as many points of order and amendments as possible. This is a fight for the people!

To gain
June 29, 2025 at 1:04 AM
Still stalled, now 46 to 50. Either there’s a dragnet out for the missing senators or there is serious negotiating and pressure going on. My guess is the latter. What changes will they make to the bill on gain holdout Republicans’ votes?
