I imagine there were a few Zoom calls and plenty of hours lost as senior creatives and brand marketers at McVities tried to decide whether it was best to go with ‘peel’ or ‘unpeel’ here

I just saw Grimsby Town beat Manchester United

I’ve never been six feet away from a Richard either.

Well, the Elizabethan watermelon-style ruffle came off a few days ago after two months waiting for a scab to heal.

Difficult to know whether she was furious or not even bothered. She’s just got one of those faces.

Just looking at the table again.

Those four points we’ve dropped could’ve put us 5th, ahead of Wimbledon and Notts Co.

And with those teams below us still due to play each other, we’d have practically been assured a play-off place.

Despite not following JK Rowling, or even using my Twitter account for months, I’m still served her thoughts straight to my lock screen. How does this happen?

Musk, anti-vaxxers, conspiracy theorists, racists, Trump… they still find ways of infiltrating my life.

I’ll see your H&M suit venture, and I raise you ‘going to the Town match today’

They said I couldn’t do it. This is for all the haters

Strong start to the week from Northern - 84p refund on a £6.70 ticket for being 25 mins late.

I hope that 84p causes someone in their admin team just a mild bit of grief.

Can someone explain to me what’s going on here?

And yes, I really don’t have anything else going on in my life right now.

Good effort by #GTFC. Probably a point earned rather than two lost given Cheltenham’s home record. Had chances to win it.

This was the most telling stat for me (not that I put too much value on them).

Bit of a dilemma here for a Meggie living in Garforth:

Garforth Town v Cleethorpes Town.

Local team v hometown team.

Probably not *that* funny that he’s died

This game, as I’m discovering, is absolutely lethal.

Merry Christmas!

Yes, one line of text indeed.

Case in point. It’s not just today, it’s pretty much every day.

The train service between two major cities in the north of England is appalling. This one at least got out of the shed (the one after it was cancelled).

I'm no Sigmund Freud, but I'd say that if he isn't sleeping or eating like he normally does, he's probably not fine.

Garforth won 4-0.

Impressive performance and a decent game, despite the pitch turning very sloppy.

Lovely night for it!

Enticed to fish. Go to Grimsby.

Loved this game when I was a kid. Played it for the first time in probably 25+ years last weekend. And won, obvs 😛

First Twitter became X, then it became a hostile, nasty, conspiracy-theorist’s wet dream.

Now, it’s all that AND it’s also found the energy to become a curious mix of clickbait and LinkedIn.

This is pretty much the vibe of every post on there now. Well, that and Trump/Musk lies.
