We were never under serious pressure at any point in yesterday's game, yet conceded two cheap goals. Similar to QPR.
As improved as we are going forward, we're carrying a L1 defence. There's no getting away from this.
This is why Porteous should have been our first signing.

The goalkeeper position really is the least of our problems, so fail to understand the meltdown about Rushworth.

If there was an overload, yes. But there wasn't. There was ONE Boro player out wide.

Coyle should have engaged with HIS man, with Alzate already in position to cover.

I'm not cheerleading Kamara (I'd take a different view if it was a marauding Boro full back), but it's basic stuff.

This is a hill I'm willing to die on, but it's the full back's job to stop the cross, just as it was against Preston.

Kamara doesn't help himself sometimes, but he's been shafted here.

And Leo Fortune-West.

Observation I've made over the past few days though is some of my connections are starting to post stuff I don't want to see on my feed.

Not an issue for me and entirely your choice of course, but please don't be offended if I unfollow you.

As much as Walter didn't help himself, and the sacking was 100% correct, last night was bordering on 'mutinous' by the players.

Many had downed tools and were barely trying to score in the 2nd half. Last time I remember something like this was Jan Molby.

They're as culpable as he was.

The modern day Delia Smith.

There is a bigger picture though. Would Rosey's name keep coming up so much if Acun had a solid succession plan in place?

I think Walterball has created a lot of revisionism about Rosey's football, I often found it dour (personal opinion).
BUT... he created a fantastic culture at the club, players and fans liked him.
The good outweighed the bad and his sacking was disproportionate.
