Zelda is such a stylised franchise that Nintendo have mastered for decades that any live action attempt screams fan adapation. I hope the final movie assuages me of that.
Nintendo has released the first official images from The Legend of Zelda film, and I think these set photos are telling us a lot more about the adaptation than Nintendo is letting on www.eurogamer.net/i-think-thes...

Ooof. A House of Dynamite was nail biting up until that dud of an ending.

I saw my first AI video being reported as real news today. It was only The Sun, but at the same time, it's worrying how quickly AI Slop is infecting (and affecting) the reliability of how we consume information.

Whilst this was inevitable, I can't believe it happened so soon. Also, I hope they enjoyed my picture of Norman Reedus.

Fired up Facebook and started counting how many posts would show until it hit something that was actually from a friend or group I follow. Stopped counting when I hit 40. I think I'm done.

Absolutely loving the opening chapter of Hell Is Us. The vibes and visual language are really drawing me in.

The fact that the thing we're calling artificial intelligence *can't do math* and yet we're jamming it into programs that successfully *have done math* for decades, then warning people against using the AI to do math, seems like an excellent summary of where we are.
Good thing no one uses Microsoft Excel for anything related to legal, regulatory or compliance business functions

My support ticket was successfully completed and they got back to me really quickly. Should I reply to the ticket, thanking them for getting it done so promptly or would that keep the ticket alive causing them more grief?

Death Stranding came at a very special time. My son had just been born and I found myself having hours of time whilst he slept next to me. The opening vibes of the sequel is pulling me back to those moments, I'm so glad it's still it's uniquely weird self.

Anyway, please like my ladder!

I really wish there was an app between YouTube Kids and regular YouTube. My son is smart enough to navigate the full app but there's so many features I want to hide from him, e.g. shorts, subscriptions. It seems many of Google's promise's around family settings are wafer thin.

Today I say farewell to my Pixel 9 XL which I have owned for... *checks calendar*... 3 days. Strange how significantly an upgrade felt like a downgrade in this instance. Major components worse and an OS that didn't work.

I finally got round to playing the Last of Us Part 2 these last two weeks after bouncing so hard, twice, off the first game. Naughty Dog continues to raise the bar in cinematic storytelling overall. It was also a good way to fill in the blanks post season 2 of the TV show. That said...

Thunderbolts* was genuinely great. A true return to form for Marvel movies. Also the effects they chose for [Redacted] was really well designed and evocative.

If a company cannot produce a build of their game from a few years ago, particularly at key milestones, then there's something fundamentally wrong with their build pipeline.
In a recent court filing, Bungie's lawyers confirmed that the studio does not, in fact, have a time machine
