HS2 site visit today watching the 4300 tonne viaduct being pushed by a "strand jack" at 10m per hour. It also gave me an opportunity to talk to a number of senior HS2 people about issues affecting Aylesbury

Watched Aylesbury concede 4 at lunchtime, QPR currently 3 nil down, very definition of a long afternoon

Visited HS2 site along the Aylesbury. Including the new bridge for A418 saw some of the new Stoke Mandeville relief road and where the South West link road will go. Also importantly for residents the new Stoke Brook and Sedrup Ditch culverts (with mammal shelf) for flood mitigation
