I think in terms of their model, look, and animation, the Utahraptor might well be up there among my favourites in the series. They feel like quintessential dromaeosaurs – for more info, I’ve written a longer article here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/a...

G. lorriemcwhinneyae is quite different compared to its cousin – considerably spikier! Until the revelation of Spicomellus’ new look recently, this species of Gastonia was almost certainly up there in terms of being the pincushion-iest of the ankylosaurs. (7/40)

Barely an hour ago, Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif warned us all:

“If this madness doesn’t end, Gaza will be reduced to ruins, its people’s voices silenced, their faces erased — and history will remember you as silent witnesses to a genocide you chose not to stop.”

Israel just killed him.

Breaking now: hundreds of Jewish New Yorkers stage a sit in at the Manhattan office building where Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have offices. They’re calling for an arms embargo and for food relief in Gaza. Jewish Voice for Peace organized the protest.
