When I did Santacon in Portland in 2004, someone brought a full-size Christmas tree. I remember the tree propped up by the pool table in a gay bar that was playing porn on the bar TVs. Prior to that I'd joined a Cacophony Society event in SF where we dressed up like Vikings. Good "old SF/PDX" days.
