Really special to see my 97 yo grandad honoured this weekend for 60 years of unbroken service for Swansea Male Choir.

He’s been a stalwart in the second tenors since my mum was born and still rehearses twice a week in the hall he built for the choir 👏🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I have an update on this. I asked Estyn this morning whether they could direct me towards the evidence or meta-analyses Mr Evans referred to when he said a “blended approach” of phonics and cueing is “probably the best way of doing it.”

Fascinated by Cllr John Warman from Neath saying steel tariffs would be devastating for the “community of West Glamorgan.”

West Glamorgan was abolished as an administrative county nearly three decades as go.

I’ve never heard anyone speak of WG in this way…or at all to be honest! Anyone else?
