Never again must not become some sort of politically correct lip service. It actually *means* NEVER AGAIN.

I am not responsible for my country's past, but I *am* responsible for ensuring that I do whatever is in my power to not let this dark chapter of history repeat itself.
The least we all can do is stand up for our fellow citizens when we witness them being bullied.

The commitment to contribute to make sure that "never again" means, indeed, never again.
I grew up with stories about horrendous discrimination, violence, persecution, execution, mass murder, unfathomable suffering at the hands of my countrymen.

I admit that I may be biased, being Austrian. I went to school in the 80s, when Austria commemorated the 50th anniversary of the 'Anschluss' to Nazi Germany. I grew up with the concept of collective responsibility, which - compared to guilt - is a future-oriented concept.

I do worry. And I am afraid you are right.

This is outright scary. It is so nonsensical - and yet so dangerous - that it makes my hair stand on end.

Is this the “Facebook’s Faces” article?

And there are indications that Russia supports Hamas, so even less reason for Ukrainians to cheer on Hamas.
