Know anyone who's lost their home in the fires? Urge them to check into a "public adjuster" - professionals who deal with the insurance company for them. They get them tens of thousands of dollars more and make the process less stressful. NOT AN AD.

Random House required a fact checker for my second book. They were so thorough that when I used the phrase "dozens" of something, the fact checker probed -- was it actually more than 24? It was. Facts are facts. FACTS AREN'T POLITICAL.
