Yep! When the last remaining Australian naturist print publication was discontinued I looked for an alternative place to direct my subscription fees. I was more than a little surprised at the apparent disconnect between individuals and entities pursuing the same or similar goals.

Agreed. Would be interesting to know the motivation for paywalls - are they simply to help cover costs of maintaining an online space? Perhaps intended to offer a level of privacy for members? Others might have more questionable gatekeeping. Regardless, it’s consistency of message that is important.

In what sense?

Just a thought on “echo chambers” - more voices make louder echoes and some of that noise will inevitably seep out. They serve as a safe space for newcomers - and tend to self-regulate - so shouldn’t be dismissed as a tool for helping with the broader objective.

Solid foundations are essential for any building project - and getting them in place is often the most time consuming and least visible aspect of the bigger picture. Your work is important- keep going if you can.

Excellent article - sure to get lots of people thinking. Trying to view the world from someone else’s perspective is never easy - and only truly possible if you have the benefit of shared insight. BTW-who would have guessed there are as many individuals living with DSD as there are with red hair?!
