Why after GCSE? Why not some in lieu of GCSE? Not all kids need English Lit (say) but something practical would be much more suitable/attractive.

I have seen instances where the student gets the mark without having to say yes or no. This is as per the official mark scheme. And it annoys me.

I find in general that GCSE markers let them get away with not stating the answer and that really irritates me (even allowing that GCSE is not a specialist level).

I remember when I wanted this book and it was out of print and my father trawled second hand book shops till he found me a copy - pristine still with uncut pages. I still treasure it 50+ years on.
