Any dog can turn. I feel much more comfortable with my collie that's 18kg and I can hold back on a lead than a 70kg bully that two men couldn't drag away.

Also I think being able to make the text as big as you want is a huge deal in terms of accessibility. Saw a woman on a train with a guide dog reading a Kindle – text so large only a few lines per page. Don't think she'd have managed a traditional "large text" printed book.
