Yeah, I'm surprised Southpaw survived the encounter with the *giant black bear* to make it to us eventually. Legends Mode just plays different, I guess. But with that in mind it does make sense that I've seen "Unit's toes/eyelids/nose were torn by opponent" reported as significant in worldgen.

Hell, sometimes they don't even have the battle scars because of something I did - Southpaw at Hellmouth got the name because she turned up already missing her right hand, which I later found in Legends Mode was because it was bitten off by a giant bear when she was a kid.

I don't think she is a rightwing chud, she's just a.) In her 50s with b.) English as her second language and c.) A Canadian who d.) Is trying to convey why Ezra Pound and Sigmund Freud are on the syllabus, but she demonstrably can explain that beautifully without tossing dogwhistles around.

I still think back on a dwarf I had who got bitten by a helmet snake and subsequently had a lung removed.

Forgotten Beasts do seem to die instantly from shots to the heart, if they have a heart, but I guess even fewer of them even have blood to lose.
